Hello, my name is Nina.

Nina1

Hi!! I am a pretty calico kitty. The vet said that I weighed about 16lbs, but I have been on a diet! I have been working out in my new foster home, so I can be ready for my forever home.

When I first went to my foster home, I got really scared (and I still do sometimes) but my foster mom is really nice and she is teaching me not to be scared anymore! I love spending time with her. She visits me several times a day, gives me a massage and rubs my head and neck. Ahhhhh, that feels so good! The more time I spend with people, I am realizing that they are nice to have around and I am learning how to relax and have fun. This is me relaxing on my favorite shelf!! I was almost a sleep when they got this picture!

This vet told me that I have a heart murmur. He says that I need to see a special doctor. So my foster mom has made me an appointment for the end of June. I get to go and have an ultrasound and then, they are going to put me on medication for it!! I can't wait. What you need to know, is that this heart murmur hasn't slowed me down. I still run and jump and play all the time!! I love to be up high, and you have to jump to get all the way up there!!

Please come and meet me and see if I can become your next best friend? I just want to be a part of a family and give all my love to them!!

maggie

Hi, my name is Maggie.

I am not quiet 18 months old. I am a beautiful girl and a quick learner. I have been in foster care for a couple of months now. I had to let my hair grow back before I could look for a home. My other owners turned me in because I was losing all my hair and they didn't know why. But then, my foster mom changed my food and I started growing it all back again. So now I have to eat this special food that comes frozen. Mom says she gets it at Krogers, so it isn't that big of a deal. She says it isn't that expensive. Especially since I get to keep all my hair now!! Just look how pretty my coat is now!!

maggie2

I have been learning all kinds of new things in my temporary home. I used to like to jump on people when I would meet them. My foster mom told me that I can't do that anymore. She says, I am not a puppy, but a big girl now and I need to stay on all four feet!! So I don't jump any more. I just want people to like me and love on me. I love pets and scratches behind my ears. I also learned how to sit and stay. Sometimes I have a little trouble with the staying part, because I get too excited and want to be next to my people, but I am learning!!!

maggie

I am not a couch potato!! I love to run and jump and play. My favorite toy right now is a huge ball that I throw up in the air and chase after. Sometimes I still act like a puppy!! I would love to be a dog that gets to go jogging everyday or even walking. I love to be active.

I don't get to play with other dogs right now, because I am living at a kennel. Kind of like a hotel for dogs, I guess. I have a room mate and I get to talk to her all the time though. She is really nice and I do like her. Everyone says I would probably play very nicely with another dog if I could. My foster mom hopes to bring me back to her house soon. She said we would practice playing nicely with other dogs there.

I am so excited and I can't wait to find my new home. Click the link below to fill out an application and take me home!!!!!

Adopt Me Please!!

www.ZooToo.com

Come join zootoo.com with ROSA'S Rescue.  For each animal you add and journal about, we get money for.

Here's How it works...

If you're not a member of Zootoo.com, create an account. Find your shelter or rescue group and take ownership.

Here's How we earn money....

When our supporters come to Zootoo.com, Google will automatically display ads next to the reviews, journals, events and other useful and fun features of the site. Revenue is generated from visitors' interest in the content of those ads. The revenue Zootoo.com receives is shared with shelters and rescues - we get a check at the end of each month. The more supporters we have writing quality content, the more revenue we can earn.

We want to encourage our supporters to write reviews, post journal entries (like a daily pet diary), comment on pet news, use the events tool, or answer member questions. The more we do, the more ads get displayed ... the more money our shelter can earn!
