Description: 8/27/09 UPDATE!!!! Bubba here - what are you waiting for - if you are looking for an energetic dog that is ready for almost anything then look no further. I am getting much better about walking on a lead and going exactly where my foster mom and dad want me to go the first time - I will admit before I just wanted to run and run and play but I am learning to be patient and wait for the right time. I love attention and I would like to cuddle with you if I could just settle myself down to enjoy it. I am a busy coonhound....

I am waiting to go to a forever home with YOU if you will have ME I promise I will be good and learn everything you want me to. I would love a big fenced in yard with plenty of toys to play with and some older kids that can tire me out so I can flop down with them and take a nap. If you know a family like that can you tell them about me?

Bubba is a coonhound/brittany mix with a beautiful brindle coat. He has those soft coonhound ears and rolls of skin around his head. He is fairly independent and easy around everyone. He loves going for walks and playing with his tennis ball in the yard. He knows to go outside to potty. He is curious about everything. He sleeps well in his crate and will just curl up on his blanket for the night. He needs more training that is gentle and guiding and he will learn best if he respects his master and is treated with kindness.
